No individual is a born Leader.Leadership is a quality obtained in early childhood in school or on playground.Every organisation needs Leader or mentor to lead the business and social institution in right direction . Leadership is of great importance in all sector’s of business in today’s world There are many diffrent type of thoughts given by variety of authors and perspectives on leadership .

Bass(1970) stated persuasively that transactional leaders gain their influence by giving reward or punishment to motivate their subordinates and also that the transactional leadership style is among the one of the most controversial theory of leadership because it sets the hierarchical boundaries of subordinates which seems to be inherently undemocratic.because according to Abraham Maslow there are several needs of an individual set in a hierarchies often called as hierarchies of needs "(self-actualisation,love,esteem,safety and physiological)" Bernard M.
