What is important to understand about bullying in schools, is that it affects people of all walks of life regardless of their background. There many individuals who experience bullying, but are unable to give their account on just how difficult these experiences may be. Some of their accounts are pretty disturbing and will make you wonder what makes an individual or group of people harass and bullying someone else. Is there really anything someone can say to justify these actions? no there isn 't. What can be said is that bullying has become a social problem that public-figures now are resorting to using their social status and influence to bring attention to this controversial topic. went on Facebook and mocked her in death." They are even said to have held a dance celebrating her death. "Springfield TV stations sent a crew to South Hadley High to talk to the kids. One girl who was interviewed on camera said... that bullies were stalking the corridors of South Hadley High." Later on, that student was attacked by one of those mean girls. These bullies are attractive, popular, and are well known in their school. "So far, they appear to be untouchable, too. What kind of message does this send to the good kids?’’ one parent Darby O’Brien stated and said, “How many kids haven’t come forward to tell what they know because they see the bullies walking around untouched?’’, ("The untouchable Mean Girls..."). In this instance a tragedy occurred. The victim in this case will never get a opportunity to see another day or tell her story. In this instance and many other victims are either too afraid to tell their story or unaware of what they can do get out of this situation. Unfortunately bullying can get so bad that many choose to harm themselves, harm others ( people involved in bullying them) and even commit suicide. Bullying is unpredictable especially, for adolescents dealing with it in schools, among their peers. Preventive measures should be taken to eliminate it out of schools and society, so victims can move forward with their
