Does online shopping cause you to spend more money?
In the past people in the United States didn’t have internet. Today however, online shopping is expanding in the world such as Amazon, eBay, Forever21, and Walmart. There is a lot of history of online shopping. There are many reasons why this change has occurred, but this essay will also outline what causes people to spend more money shopping online.
Over the last ten years the history of online shopping has exploded. Julie Knapp “In 1990, was the first worldwide server and browser was created”. The second important step in the history of online shopping, beyond the internet itself, was online banking. Online banking started in 1994 making it easy for transactions online. Pizza hut was the first online retailer. They were the first pizza chain to offer online ordering and home delivery. After the Pizza hut was introduced online; Amazon and eBay launched as an online shopping network. Amazon and eBay has been very successful today.
There are many reasons for the popularity of online shopping. One of the main reasons is the change of our lifestyle. Many people in the United States are busy working, shifts, or going to school. They don’t have time to drive out to a store to shop. Some people get tired of walking and rather shop online. Shopping on the internet can make people relax and take their time to think about a purchase. Some online stores have buy one get one half off or get one free. That gives a lot of people to buy a second item. Another cause you can pay for fees by E-banking. The vast majority of online stores offers prices that are much lower than what you will find at a physical store.

There are lots of causes for why people spend more money online, especially when it’s the holidays many retailers give out huge deals. People rather shop online because it’s easier, people don’t have time to go outside and there’s a lot more products on the web. You can buy products from around the world on some of the online sites, but the most popular site that lets you shop from different country’s is eBay. EBay has multiple places you can buy products from such as Tokyo, Korea, and China. Shopping online is going to increase more throughout the years to come. People are going to create easier strategies to get people to spend lots of money. Some of the items online is usually not in physical stores; there’s more of variety of clothes, shoes, and accessories online.
