Getting inspired is something that can happen unexpectedly. A single thing can just set the stage for an amazing creation to come about. Much of what people are exposed to due to the media and also literature can really affect someone’s life. Hayao Miyazaki is a film director, animator, screenwriter and also producer. He is someone who’s work really changed my perspective on animation and also the conventional idea of a hero. Miyazaki was born on January 5, 1941 in Japan. His parents were Dola and Katsuji Miyazaki. His father Katsuji Miyazaki and worked for Miyazaki Airplanes which was Miyazaki’s uncles business. The company manufactured parts for warplanes that were used during World War II. Miyazaki had three brothers which also worked for Miyazaki Airplanes. Miyzaki’s mother, Dola suffered from spinal tuberculosis for about nine years, which of course caused a distant relationship and led to his mother being admitted into the hospital for long periods of time. Something that has always upset Miyazaki was that his family profited from Japan’s efforts in the War, his i...
Tim Burton, a director of numerous successful films, takes you through many stories of unique characters. Although, despite their differences, one still could point out similarities throughout each movie. This is caused by Tim Burton’s cinematic style. This specific style is influenced by his favorite childhood author, Dr. Seuss. Tim Burton uses lighting, camera movements, and editing to build a suspenseful but also calming mood all at once. Burton attempts to convey the contrasting message of darkness mixed within innocence throughout each of his films.
What is inspiration? Inspiration is being stimulated to think of something or do something. Usually what inspires people to something is,other people, institutions, and circumstances. These are factors that makes us want to do something or change for the better or worse. In the words of Deborah Brandt she names these factors “Sponsors”. These Sponsors as she describes in her concept of Literary sponsorship help people see their true potential as readers and writers. Growing up I did not really like English. It was difficult concept but a particular teacher sparked a fire within me that brought out my true potential for reading and writing, Mr. Free.
The work done by Walt Disney continues to inspire filmmakers all around the world today. Animations in his name are created yearly and have great feedback from all age groups. Whether it’s a grandma and her grandchild or two teenage friends, one can find the humor, life lessons, and catchy tunes enjoyable. Walt Disney was very passionate with his work in the entertainment industry; as a result, the most famous and successful films of all time were born.
After reading chapter 7 in the textbook, someone that came to my mind that I admired for hir creativity is Eugenio Derbez. He’s an actor, writer, director and producer. I see his creativity on all his TV creations. He also has the ability to transform and create funny TV series as well as many famous characters all based on real life situations such as the TV series “Vecinos” or the character of “Armando Hoyos”
Ideas in my brain began frantically flowing out in excitement, and the classroom was fluttering with discussion coming from every corner of the room. Minute after minute, I developed creative approaches towards not only my character, but towards other characters. Small, minuscule ideas became grand after I started tweaking and developing them. In addition to my contribution, I made
An artist I really admire once said, “An animator is just an actor with a pencil”. This struck me because as much as I love animation and want to go into it, I never once thought of it that way until I heard it. The artist who said that is one of Disney’s most gifted illustrator, character designer, animator, and concept artist, Glen Keane. He will forever be one of my favorite artists because of how his work both influences and inspires my work as an aspiring artist. Using such organic line work he is able to create pieces that show years of experience behind, with nothing more than just a pencil.
When I first entered this class, film as an art form and as an expressionistic medium was foreign to me. Films have always been a part of my life; I grew up in the era of Disney and Pixar, but it was an art form I had not analyzed before this year. Throughout grade school, you are exposed to painting, drawing, even perhaps photography; rarely does film enter the picture. You learn about the great master artists, such as Vincent van Gogh, Leonardo Da Vinci, or even Ansel Adams. These are the people that are remembered in our classroom. Film has its own masters of the craft, a concept I did not realize before I took this course. Each part of a movie is carefully crafted; the director is the skilled artist and the film is his masterpiece. This
Mamoru Hosoda is a relatively new animator and director in the Japanese Anime film industry. His works recently have started to be widely known internationally. Many claim his artistic works rival those of Hayao Miyazaki, the most famous director and creator of Studio Ghibli.
“The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” –Walt Disney. Walt Disney’s name may be acknowledged only as it occurs to the TV show. On the contrary, Walt Disney had not been just an artist in animation; He was a man who epitomized the American dream like few others. He was not perfect, but he affected many lives during the 1930’s in low times, and for this he may not be classified just as a hero, but also a legend.
I want to be a professional disney animation artist.I want to do this as a job because I love drawing my own characters. I really want to do this because it would be super fun to draw characters for movies and short films.
“I want to create films through which children can see and experience something new. I want to make that one unforgettable film in everyone’s childhood, something they can enjoy for at least thirty years.” (Fujimoto)
Inspiration is the thing that causes us to act, regardless of whether it is getting a glass of water to lessen thirst or perusing a book to pick up information. Inspiration is characterized as the yearning and activity towards objective coordinated conduct. This is an essential idea in brain science and in business, schools, and different zones. For instance, we need our kids to carry on and get their work done. Organizations need to get the populace to purchase their items. Grown-ups might need to change the practices of sentimental others. These circumstances are cases of times that we might need to propel another person to do what we need them to do. Inspiration can be natural or
Creativity is a phenomenon, in which an individual is able to bind imagination and reality into one, when applied to animation the boundaries of visual imagery are endless. An individual possesses the ability to create at the mind's will with the possibility of one day being able to affect millions globally. The film and gaming industries, now utilise the power of animation to its full effect, this is where I aim to belong, fulfilling my dream of being a 3D animator within either industries. Animation has always had a profound impact on my perception of the world. In childhood, I became engrossed in films such as Toy Story and Monsters Inc, I found myself examining everyday objects such as a kettle and wondering how that kettle could be visually personified and therefore unique. Gaming seemed to enhance my desire to explore the justification of such aspects; I played Kingdom Hearts which combined globally animated films and TV shows into its enchanting and complex storyline. I was truly captivated, it was not just the fact that the quality of 3D animation surpassed many games I had p...
Creativity is not just limited to an animator but to those that believe you must be
The definition of being inspired is a constant process of realignment. Whenever you are feeling down you have to have that extra push to get you through whatever it may be that you are having trouble with. When I first was given the writing assignment I was unsure about who inspired me. I always thought the person you look up to or is inspired by had to be someone who is famous are someone who has done great things. That is not the case. It took me awhile to realize that I have much inspiration around me. I have a great support system. No they might not have changed the world or might not be famous but they have done great things. They have changed my life in so many ways and that has to count for something. I may never be famous or change the world but I hope to one day inspire someone. My goals is to live up to my mom and grandmother expectations they have set for me. I am very hard on myself when it comes down to making them
