Green homes can be powered with numerous resources that the Earth has an abundance of. The different types of resources for green homes are plentiful, with traditional homes; resources are scarce and limited. With new and improved eco friendly homes that are sustained by using renewable resources, the demand for resources that power these homes is an important aspect that designers and homeowners need, the different kinds of resources are limited but they all are recyclable and will continue to be in an abundance. The most popular way many people obtain the energy needed in a green home is through solar energy. This is natural sunlight that is captured and transformed to power the electricity in homes by installing solar power panels. Resources that are needed to power an eco friendly home are important and the need for inexpensive and easy access ones is vital. The sun is the most common and most admired resource to use due to its variety of usage. The sun has a variety of possibilities that it could be used to transfer into electricity and even for hot water procedures. Another reason why it is the most common is because it is the easiest to install and obtain, and also, saves humans the most amount of money. Another way to obtain energy that is gaining in popularity is through wind power. An article written by an anonymous writer states "The most efficient of green energy sources is wind. Wind is the safest and cleanest of the green energy sources as it produces no pollutants and does not contribute to global warming. Wind energy is harnessed by erecting a turbine that spins in the breeze generating electricity" ("Green Energy Sources"). The need for different resources for different areas that are low-priced and easy to get...

Going Green for Gatesburg idea is the right decision to make if there is any hope of saving the environment from the natural disaster of the human race. With making your own compost and recycling the way that's explained in the text, you can redue the amount of waste added to landfills by 90% over the next five years, you'll save moeny in the long run, you won't have to open an entirely new landfill, and you will vastly improve upon the environment.
Even tho the green revolution had stopped starvation in some of the world, it has also caused some. The green revolution was the use of new technology to grow food for the people of the world that started in the 1950’s. These new technology were such things as Gmo’s, pesticides, fertilizers. The main goal was to stop hunger and make second and third world countries better and not living in poverty. The green revolution Raised the amount of food in the world, made the world's population increase in a dangerous rate and harmed and damaged the earth and its people.
Everyone is looking for a better way to have power. Solar power has very dependable technology, with little to no maintenance. It can bring finical savings by making more power a home owner may need and you can resell back the power company. Lastly help the environment by having no waste so less pollution and takes up unused space by putting them on to the roofs of the houses. In the end Home owners should try looking pass the initial price of Solar panels and see that this is a great way to produce energy that does not produce any carbon foot print.
Going green in the workplace is a new trend in business. In choosing to go green in the workplace you may be challenged by an elevated initial start-up costs, however savings earned from this investment will more than pay for those initial costs in the future. Many people see this as a controversial issue, and granted it does have its own unique set of pro and cons, but if a business makes careful choices going green can prove to be very rewarding. Companies are doing this to save money on energy expenses as well as deploying it as a means to help reduce the carbon foot-print they are leaving behind.
Preview: Today I will discuss the potential that solar power has to become this country’s main supply of energy and the latest research that can make solar power more efficient and cost effective. I will also present the environmental benefits that come with using solar power over other and more harmful forms of energy.

When picking an energy resource for the topic of this paper, I bounced around a lot of ideas. Then it occurred to me that I should write about what I will be living with in about a month. My mom just finished designing and building our earthbag, solar, off-grid house, a four-year endeavor. I will soon live in a place powered by one of the most common alternative energy resources, solar energy, so I should learn more about it. At our new house, we have two stand alone pedestals with six 170W panels on each pedestal, making for a 2040W or 2kW solar system.
Prakash (2002) article seems indicates that going green should not be inducted in firms as a management strategy because its ‘still in its infancy’ stage, its effectiveness is unknown (Prakash 2002 p. 295). Any strategy taken by the management should add value to a firm but unfortunately, Prakash outlines that the green strategy infantry stage subjects’ managers to go green due to lack of a suitable option to mitigate the pressure they are subjected to by institutions (environmental) and stakeholders who threaten to sabotage firms operations. In most cases, going green comes with added costs that should also be recovered and one way of recovering such costs is by changing prices or the product but still, this does not work as consumers are not ready to pay extra costs for green products or rather consumers’ attitudes (environmentalism) do not go hand in hand with their behavior (purchasing green products). Therefore, this makes Prakash discredit managerial efforts towards going green ‘promote products by employing environmental claims either about their attributes or about the systems, policies and processes of the firm that manufacture or sell them’ (Prakash 2002 p. 285).
Greenpeace is an independent organization campaigning to ensure a just, peaceful, sustainable environment for future generations. It began in Canada in 1971 and today has a presence in more than 40 countries with 2.4 million supporters worldwide. Greenpeace Australia was founded in 1977 and today we have more than 75,000 supporters.
I am certain that all have heard of the terms green house gases, fossil fuels, and global warming. Have you ever questioned what will happen if nothing is done about the environmental problems facing the world today? What if I answer you that, we can merely use the power from the sun to power up our entire planet without the use of harmful energy sources, which affect our atmosphere? The power from the sun is what we call solar power. Solar power is the energy that comes from the sun as light and heat energy, and then it is later converted into electrical energy through solar panels (Nelson, 2008). This kind of power is completely free, right? Why should we put a lot of expense on other sources of energy, when there is a complete free and healthy power? It is evident that solar energy is a healthy source of energy, which will help stop global warming all together, but it is economically efficient to switch everything to solar energy. Solar energy is capable of becoming the world's future power supply because, it is renewable, eco-friendly, and extremely efficient when strategically placed.
Another alternative energy source is solar energy. This is predicted to be the most promising source of energy for the future, but there are still a few things that need improving to make it work in the most efficient way. Solar energy is produced when photovoltaic cells in solar panels absorb sunlight and convert it to energy. The energy from the cells is converted to electricity in an inverter and can be used or stored for later use. Solar energy is both renewable and sustainable. It is also a clean and quiet way to produce energy. Solar energy is good for remote or rural areas where it may be difficult to get power lines. Although solar panels are expensive to install they are low maintenance after installation. However, there is a need for a large, open area for the solar panels. Solar panels can only absorb energy during the day and even though the energy can be stored for use at night, it can be expensive to store energy. Solar panels are also less effective in bad weather when there is less sunlight to be
There are different kinds of resources that we can use in order to produce renewable energy. Solar power, wind power, hydroelectric power are just some of the kinds of renewable energy that might be the best options to obtain energy because they come from natural resources. Although renewable energy can be expensive to build, it has less environmental damage in comparison to non-renewable energy. Besides the natural resources such as sun, wind, water and hydrogen, we also have geothermal power, and biofuels as renewable sources.
Understanding the environment would help you recognise the appropriate energy production system to use. Renewable energy is an alternative natural source to fossil fuels like sunlight, wind and geothermal heat. Wind turbines and photovoltaic panels are examples of energy production systems where the conditions of a particular environment has to be taken into account. If a building is located alongside or near
The Green movement began in the Western World during the 1970’s around the time of the Vietnam War. The green movement is a social movement regarding concerns for environmental conservation and improvements to the current health of the environment. The Green movement also promotes the conservation, restoration, and the overall improvement of our environment. Many people disagree with the green movement and its values because they don’t see the immediate benefits from them. However, supporting the green movement by recycling, researching alternative energy sources, and mandating eco-friendly laws will lead to a better, greener, country.
