Yahoo! - The Internet Search Engine
Yahoo! is my search engine of choice. In this paper I will discuss why I personally choose Yahoo! as my search engine and what I found out about the company.
First, I choose Yahoo! for several reasons. The first reason being that is my laptops' home page. I find it a lot easier to search for something without searching for a different search engine. Second, I have heard good things about Yahoo! and I know that many of my classmates also use Yahoo!. The results that I get back when doing a search are usually adequate and I will ultimately use the results. I did however, compare this search engine with MSN. I found that Yahoo! was much better in presenting facts about their company in a user friendly manner. For MSN it was difficult to even find the information requested in this assignment.
For this assignment finding how the company acquires information was rather easy although it never came right out and stated how. How it organizes the information when putting in a search request was never found but I do have some...
Aristole’s Nichomachean Ethics is a critically acclaimed piece of literature that has laid the framework for philosophy as we know it today. It is considered to be a historical piece that was the first to address ethics in a unified, clear, and concise manner. The book was translated by F. H. Peters with an introduction by Hye-Kyung Kim. Aristotle was one of the great early philosophers who ventured to speak to humans about how they conducted themselves as they related to others; however, some of Aristotle’s ideologies were debated by his counterparts for hundreds of years. Aristotle’s plethora of ideas was and has been adopted by past and present philosophers as they approached subject matter that had very few definitive answers. Aristotle was born in circa 384 B. C. and died in 322 B.C.
As I read Aristotle’s book "Nicomachean ethics," I analyzed and comprehend his thoughts on all ten books. I came to realization that Aristotle thoughts throughout the book are difficult to express and clearly comprehend. But though it was difficult to breakdown, I could clearly see that it was written to determine what a human being is as a whole.
...e graph to contrast Gmail and Yahoo!’s email user was found to be surprisingly difficult and provided unrelated results: a link to “A List of Mergers and Acquisitions” on Wikipedia popped up as the second choice when typing in the key words “google vs yahoo email graph” into the search bar. When one searches for maps, Google presents Google Maps in 1 in 13 search results, while MapQuest and Yahoo! Maps seem nonexistent. Additionally, Youtube (which was acquired by Google in 2006) and Google Video enjoy higher ranks while Bing Video is 6th in line. Google’s market share over the search industry has increased rapidly over the last decade, but that doesn’t mean the results it provides are reliable. Google therefore is characterized by monopolistic traits because its increasing influence and control allows it to manipulate markets to further promote company popularity.
Google has many competitive advantages over other search engines in its industry. According to the textbook, the four building blocks of competitive advantage are efficiency, quality, innovation, and customer responsiveness. Google’s performance in all of these categories supersedes its competitors in the internet information provider industry.

To achieve this topic, I have sectioned my paper into three main sections, in which I have subsections supporting. In the first section, I will provide much information about Aristotle and his beliefs in virtue and obtaining happiness. Using information from his book of ethics I will provide examples and quote on quote statements to support his views. In the second section, I will provide my agreements as to why I relate and very fond of Aristotle’s book of Nicomachean Ethics. In the third section, I will provide research as to why there are such objections to Aristotle’s book of ethics, and counter act as to why I disagree with them. Lastly I will conclude much of my and as well as Aristotle’s views on ethics and why I so strongly agree with this route of ethics for humans.
One of Aristotle’s most influential works, Nicomachean Ethics, lays claim that there is an actual, material definition of what happiness is and ways one may possibly attain the greatest good in life, which is ultimately to be happy. Furthermore, Aristotle distinguishes that there is a difference between higher and lower pleasures that one ought to seek in life. He believed that the highest good one has the possibility of achieving is grasping true virtue. In Aristotle’s eyes, there are different types of virtue; intellectual virtue is learned from the teachings of society, whereas moral virtue is discovered as result of our habits.

...as not only been reliable when it arises to offering a product of the highest and excellence, nonetheless is also continually developing, adjusting, but more meaningfully revolutionizing the industry. Also, what creates Google’s invention so matchless in assessment to its challengers is the attention that it offers to consumer requirements in order to offer a consistent and difficultly substituted the product rather than concentrating on exploiting its profit with each given chance which may cooperation the quality of its search consequence its product. Having examined the company’s internal and external environment it is obvious that Google earnings care and attentions even to the smallest detail to guarantee that it will be the leading company between many other online search engines and has been able to create loyal customers that are continually growing.
Aristotle’s thoughts on ethics conclude that all humans must have a purpose in life in order to be happy. I believe that some of the basics of his ideas still hold true today. This essay points out some of those ideas.
In today’s fast paced technology, search engines have become vastly popular use for people’s daily routines. A search engine is an information retrieval system that allows someone to search the...
“Don’t be evil”, is the corporate slogan of Google. The working staffs in Google generally apply those words to how they serve their users and how they run the business. In the long run, both the goal of money supply growth and interest rates is perfectly compatible but in the short run, central banks face trade-off between money growth and price stability because shift in demand for money will affect interest rate if the money supply is fixed (Wright & Quadrini, 2009). Therefore, explicit inflation targeting (keeping increases in price level within the certain range) leads to lower employment and output in short run. Likewise, monetary aggregate targeting can boost employment and economic growth but can result in higher inflation. Further, time lag which is long lags between policy implementation and real-world effects made it difficult for policy makers to determine what degree of policy is

This type of information is not something everyone can have access to. This information can separate the successful companies from the one¹s struggling to survive. This information is valuable, and can be bought, sold traded and even stolen. It can be the most important asset a company owns.
