Recommended: Media violence effects on society

One film I watched is called Dirty Harry. In the beginning Harry opens fire at the yellow passing car and it hit the fire hydrant erupting into flames. He kept walking and for a moment he look like a striking dude that no one should mess with. I felt the leading character is both a bad and cool guy because he does what he wants. In my position I wouldn’t imagined myself breaking the law because it’s scary going to jail. When he approached the black guy and points the gun at him, the black guy thought he was going to get shot. Harry shoots at the black guy knowing that it didn’t have bullets inside. I was surprised by how the black guy felt terrified by the gun but later his face changed into “What is going on in here?” It made me laugh that something I was expecting turned out to be child’s play. At night Harry was investigating the neighborhood and he glanced at a window. There was a woman who was half naked preparing to greet her boyfriend which I find it shocking. When her boyfriend came in she undresses herself fully to have a wonderful night with him. On the other side Harry tries to watch their romantic night by trying to stand on the trashcan to get a better look. Somehow the next neighbors found out about his peeping and start to hit him. In the end Scorpio tries to escape from his crime by kidnapping all the elementary students including the driver, from a bus. He made every elementary students sing “Oh Macdonald had a farm ” and “Row Row Row Your Boat.” I find it funny to watch that the elementary students are having so much fun without knowing they are in danger. Although Scorpio is a bad guy he is nice to the elementary students. The woman driver felt terrified and scared by him as she drove the bus. Regardless, the youngster always bared a strong attraction towards the young miss which in their adolescence turned into love. Further on in the film, a mysterious benefactor greenlights the man to make his dreams come true. All he did had one goal… to ultimately making Estella fall in love with him. Estella’s detachment for men is due to her mother history with men. My favorite part of the film is the first time that the protagonist Pip met Estella’s mom Miss Havisham. She told Pip that her heart was broken, which is particular because later on in the film, that same thing happens expect now the roles are turned.
