Recommended: Homosexuals should have same rights

“The real question that should be debated is not whether gay marriage should be allowed, but rather, is marriage something we need anymore?” this quote was said by David Vaklis addressing that if people aren’t going to accept homosexuals, then why should we have marriage. The debate is whether people will accept homosexuals, and, will gay marriages be legalized across the United States and not just in certain areas. Even though it is against traditional marriage religion, gay marriage shall be legalized because being in love with the same sex shouldn’t be a problem and why shouldn’t everyone be treated equally.
People are against it because of the “image” of our country if we legalize it worldwide, how America as a nation would look. This could start so many new problems but solve many. It could make the country a more loving and open place to live rather then a place that just neglects. For instance, some people don’t care about gays. Maybe because everyone deserves the right to be who they are and who they ought to be.
One of the main issues on why gay marriages shouldn’t be legalized around America is because same-sexual intercourse is going against Gods beliefs of god and how the world was intended to be through his perspective. Same-sex marriage is a sin and it offends God. In the book Genesis: “God created man in His image; in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them. God blessed them, saying ‘be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.’”(Gen. 1:28-29) male and female were made to make children and create new life. ...it by bringing forth the issue in front of the states head people or to court. Everyone has the right to freedom to be who they want, to a certain extent. Legalizing homosexuals will bring the world to peace with this issue because if not, people will still keep fighting for it. I think gay marriage should be legalized and finally bring justice to an for the gays. Yay for gay marriages.
