Challenge Paper Wrestling is a huge physical challenge to me. It is the oldest sport known to man. It was one of the original olympics games. It is my favorite sport for a variety of reasons. When I first started this sport I was a little sceptical if I would like it or not, but I kept on showing up to practice and giving it my all. The first year I did not care for the sport, I had never won a match my first year out. The second year was the year that I started liking the sport, I won a few matches my second year, and I will never forget my first win. It is a hard sport, but that's what I like about it. You can’t give in, unless you don't want to be at the best of your ability. When you are put on your back you can’t give in, you have to make your mind hate losing, and that you will not lose, unless the person is truly better then you, otherwise you're going to get pinned. The sport can get emotional for many people in this sport. Some people get furious and some people get sad, but a true athlete will keep calm and keep a level head. I have gotten mad after I have lost a match before. Then I realized that getting mad was was not going the change the fact that I lost. This year will hopefully bring easter competition then the past few years. I have wrestled many ranked wrestlers in the past two years that I have started on varsity. I remember the time that I wrestled the number one wrestler at 285 for 2A. I lasted forty six seconds and I was proud of it at the time, but now if I were to go against the number one ranked wrestler at 285 2A, I would make sure I would last longer then that. I was a freshman at the time and he was a senior. Wrestling is personally, my favorite sport. You feel accomplished after every practice, and if you worked hard enough in practice it might pay off at a meet.
