This product is made for all women when their period arrives, which would be about every 28 days. There is a variety of different products to choose from including pads, tampons and liners. Libra pads are designed for women to use during their menstruation time. This is when a woman's uterus lining is shed causing her to bleed for up to 10 days. Libra pads are designed to stick to your underwear and collect the blood that is coming out of the vagina. Some women wear pads or liners all the time for hygiene and freshness. Libra pads are made out of cotton wool mixed with special polymer crystals designed to absorb liquid. Once liquid enters the pad, the polymer crystals absorb it, and turning it into a gel-like substance thus trapping it inside the pad. The top layer of the pad is designed to let liquid into the pad, but stops the gel from getting out. This is why the pad feels dry and comfortable against the skin during use. Libra wraps their pads individually. Then will pack them into groups of 10, 12, 14, and 24. Libras development stage is mature because Libra has been around for many years and they haven't been able to find a way to improve their product recently. fig 1 Libra has many competitors; these competitors are also in the same development stage and use the same pricing strategy. Libras main competitors are U by Kotex Tampax Stay free Carefree Home brand Price Libra pads are a reasonable price and when compared with the other brands. Libra uses a market oriented pricing strategy this means that the seller compares similar products being offered on the market. Then, the seller sets the price higher or lower than their competitors depending on how well their own product matches up. Place Libra’s distribution channel is either channel 2 or 3 or 4. Libra pads most likely use channel 2 which means that it goes straight from the producer to the supermarket then to the consumer. If they use channel 3 it will then go from the producer to the wholesaler (someone like foodstuffs) then to a supermarket then to a consumer. Libra pads don't have an expiry date so they can sit on the shelves longer than fresh produce. 1 2 3 4 5 By Libra using these channels they will have the price of a middle man and also will not get to meet their customers in person or be able to contact them very easily.
