Children Shouldn’t Get Homework I’ve had homework pretty much every night since elementary school and all I can say about it is that I absolutely hate it. If you ask most kids, they’ll agree. As much as I dislike it, I have always been good about turning my homework in and on time. What exactly is fun about homework? And what is the point? Students are at school for 6 hours a day and teachers still give us homework. When teachers give us homework they are taking away more of our free time. There have been times when I have been working on homework from 3:00 in the afternoon to midnight. Instead of spending my afternoon on so much homework, I could have been outside or spending time with my family.
