Higher education has evolved to become one of the principal means in educating individuals. It is approached through the medium of colleges and universities, and college currently cost more than ever. However, without a college education, Americans also have a higher stand at losing more than ever. The increasing cost of higher education in the United States has been a continuous topic for debates in the past few decades. American society emphasizes the importance of education after high school, however, its costs have been rising dramatically, leaving people in the United States to wonder if higher education is really worth the cost or not.
