America, the land of golden opportunities, hasn’t been so golden for many American citizens. With millions Americans unemployed, finding a reliable job to support a family is extremely hard to come by. Unemployed Americans work every day to try and find themselves a job, but this near impossible job search has become even harder due to the millions of illegal immigrants who have stolen jobs from true Americans. Consuming a massive percentage of the total income from American jobs, illegal immigrants are beginning to dominate the American economy in an unpleasant way. Along with taking the many of the minute amount of American jobs, illegal immigrants are responsible for a large portion of gang and drug related violence happening in America. In the America, it is illegal for anyone to work and receive pay without paying taxes on their income but, these illegal immigrants work under the radar allowing them to become excluded from the income tax laws. The money that immigrants earn from working in America makes up 14.7% of the the total economic income of the American population. The average American pays over $16,000 in income and payroll taxes per year!(‘Why Illegal Immigration Is Bad For America.’). For many hardworking Americans this is a very large portion of their annual pay, but at least the taxes are being used to better improve the country for American citizens right? Wrong! Even though many illegal immigrants don’t pay the required income taxes, an estimated 12 billion dollars of American taxpayers’ money goes towards primary and secondary schooling for illegal immigrants (‘Why Illegal Immigration Is Bad For America.’). This is a substantial amount of money that is being used to fund programs for people who are in America
