Why I Want To Pursue A Forensic Science Degree

People don't usually see the computational technology behind their devices. For me, it has always been intriguing to know the computerisation and fundamentals that create these graphical user interfaces. My interest in computing goes back to an early stage, where I was first introduced to a PC.
It's what made me passionate about studying A-level Computing and has inspired me to take it further to degree level. In my lessons, I am currently programming in Python, however I have a high motivation and am in the process of learning other languages. Hence, the reason I am undertaking two courses on future learn 'Forensic Science’ and 'Learning Cyber Security', which will enable me to independently broaden my knowledge on this subject area and widen my horizons. Studying for this degree, will allow me to have a further insight into advanced technology, where I will be able to explore the world of coding further. Programming can be challenging as it requires logic, which is often not clear, but it is the problem solving that motivates me further to learn indispensable skills. I have been studying Media since GCSE, where I believe it has given me transferable skills and abilities such as having a critical approach and analytical view to issues in society, which is reflected through both grades as I have been able to show flair and creativity in my work. I also have a keen interest in business, through the role model of my dad and further relatives. In addition to this, I have been employed under my dad at Simi Fashion, where I have the responsibility of dealing with customers, whether it is over the phone through email or face to face. Other roles are stock replenishment, processing orders and working online.
