My brother once told me, “If you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe then you’ll be successful.” We all want to impact or change the world one way or another, but some do not want it bad enough. Everyone wants success but it is easier to sit on the couch and watch TV or fall asleep than finish an assignment. The point is that in life there are a lot of things we think we want, but do not try hard enough due to comfort and ease. However, I am proud to be an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) student because we are pushed to the edge. IBDP eliminates those who cannot put up with the pressure or quantity of assignments. It has preoccupied me with anything but laziness. My goal is to become a happy, strong, independent woman who is able to achieve the IB Diploma, and major in Education or psychology in a prestigious university. The Programme has positively influenced my fellow classmates and me by providing the future of our community with a higher level education and caring young individuals.
