Why do you want to become a tutor?
Tutoring is a wonderful way of teaching and learning. First, I feel happy when I can help students. Some students take more time to learn, and they may not be able to catch up with understanding all the concept they need to graduate from the class. I can help them because I understand how the computer system works and how are they programmed. I can assist them understating problems and core concepts of computer systems. Second, I find tutoring a great way of learning and reviewing. Students have their own ways of solving problems and I get to learn their ideas. Therefore, tutoring will not only help me in learning my computer science courses but also will put me in a field that I am passionate about. What knowledge and contributions can you bring to the position(s) you are applying for?

I emigrated from Nepal in 2008 to the United States and started my educational career by taking English (ESL - English as a Secondary Language) classes where I met students from various parts of the world. I also work at Target where I get to deal with and do business with people around the world with a diverse population. Moreover, while working as a tutor and IT technician at Front Range Community College I deal with diverse people. In the current tutor position at FRCC, I have been helping students from the United States, China, Korea, Mexico, Nepal, and India. In addition, during my 9 years of employment in the United States, I had dealt with thousands of people with physical disability, special ability, and ethnic minority.
