I was very excited when I was invited to join the National Honor Society. I have always wanted to be involved with the National Honor Society at Riverside. I know that being involved in the National Honor Society at Riverside is a privilege and an honor. I think that I should be in the National Honor Society as I always stay true to who I am, I like to help others, be around other people, and stand up for what I believe in. How a person acts says a lot about who they are. I love to be around other people. I love to help people out, whether it’s a family member, friend, neighbor, classmate, or teacher. I am there to help if a classmate needs help studying, and if a friend needs advice about anything. I love to talk to people and help them solve their problems. One of my dream jobs is to become a psychiatrist. I talk to everyone. I always think that one word or one smile could make someone's day become instantly better. I know that after high school I want to attend college. I’m not yet sure of what career I want to pursue as I have many interests. I want to have a job that helps other people, such as a doctor, nurse, teacher, and many other jobs. In addition to wanting to become a psychiatrist, I have an interest in becoming a teacher, I love to be around kids and teach others, but, I would have to teach preschool or kindergarten, where the kids are not taller than me. I also love to draw, paint, color, and do anything artistic. I love running cross country, and being involved in the band. I like to help people work out their problems.
