Recommended: Factors affecting motivation of students performance

As my Senior year in high school is coming to an end and my college plans are being finalized, I recognize the need for financial assistance. Receiving this scholarship will allow me the opportunity to focus entirely on my studies and one day give back to my community. I feel as though I am the best candidate for this scholarship award because of my passion for learning, activity level, class load, and commitment to excellence. Early in high school, I considered engineering, sports marketing, and physical therapy. All of these sounded interesting, however, none filled me with the desire I was longing for. My love for learning and helping others to learn as well, whether it’s academics or sports, made me realize that a career in teaching is what I want to pursue after graduation. My mom has been a teacher for many years, and I admire the passion and dedication she has for her students. I want to make a difference in the lives of students and create a desire for learning.
