Why Guns Should Be Banned Arguments

To start off with, I disagree with banning guns. By banning it’s not going to fix any problems, in my opinion I believe that by banning guns it’s not going to fix any problems honestly it probably make everything else worse. I’m the first close read, the author states “Democratic politicians will regularly begin their remarks on gun control by saying, “I support the second amendment, and I’m not trying to ban guns.”” Now the second amendment states, “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” Now I agree that statement because by letting us have our guns is our safety and personal protection. Plus not to mention, a few of our world's problems is not fun just guns. Such as 9/11 was a hijack on a airplane,1995 Oklahoma City bombing, the attacker in France also didn’t shoot anyone he ran people over in his truck. So therefore to prove it’s not all from guns and those are just a few well known things that happened. Let alone all the small things. I’m not saying that guns don’t start and cause mass murders, what I’m saying is that by the authors saying guns should be ban because of all the danger …show more content…

I am leaning on to Dalmia’s side. Banning guns isn’t right ( in my own opinion). I think that by banning guns like I previously said above, it’s not going to fix problems by that mean it’s going to be causing even more problems. Not only is there a bad rate of shootings but it’s not gonna get any better because you can’t possibly get every gun out there. For the people out there that “act if they don’t /lie” about having a gun will still be able to start things (as shootings) while others think that they didn’t even have a gun to be able to shoot up anything they choose
