Workplaces should not allow people to bring their dogs to work because the dogs will distract you in every way possible. Dogs will bark at eachother in chaos, pee everywhere to claim territory, and expect to be taken out. However it is fair to say that bringing your dog to work may relax you in many ways, it may also be the reason you stay loyal to your work. I do not think any company in their right mind should be in favor of bringing Dogs to work just to secure a long term relationship with an employee. Dogs require attention, dogs themselves usually demand attention but what happens when your boss asks you to pay attention to your work in the middle of providing your dog with attention, which would you choose? Personally I dont understand how anybody can be so selfish to the extent of bringing a dog to work. I think pets should not even be allowed to even be in a workplace due to the fact that some people are actually terrified of dogs and bring them into a workplace can cause a lot of problems. The only reason I feel this way is because of the fact that animals can be huge a distraction to the workers and customers, they will require a lot of attention like stopping to feed them, give them water, taking them to use the bathroom. Plus, not all dogs are good dogs, you have the nice dogs and the mean dogs, how can a person do their job if you see dogs running back and forth, barking, ETC. Another reason can be that some people suffer from allergies. You really can’t bring one if you work in a fast food restaurant. I fully understand if a person that has a physical disability.

At school’s for handlers and dogs to learn arson detections, they have simulated fire scenes, they learn how to locate and identify tiny drops of accelerants and the fuels used to start fires. Most of the animals you buy at pet stores come from some type of mill. We all have had a "aw mom can we get it?" Phase right? But I'm sure what you haven't been told is that in order for these animals to get where they are, they're put through an awful lot. Animals are cute and loveable creatures and have a heart just like us, they don't deserve to be put through so much. If everyone came together and stopped buying pets from these stores and putting an end to these mills then we could find a new way to reproduce animals and buy them. Animals deserve to have and live a better life than what they are living in now. Puppy Mills should be banned for good.
If I had to choose a side between the two arguments, I would say to leave your dog at home.
