Dogs are a lot more entertaining than cats and will keep you company. With any pet comes with reasonability it just depends how much work you are actually willing to do. Although cats are good pets, dogs are often known as a “mans best friend” and make flawless pets. Dogs are a lot more energetic, and are capable of helping us in our everyday lives. Dogs can sense when someone is upset. This is why they look at you with those puppy eyes and end up wanting to cuddle with you. Cats are more of a laid back easy animal to take care of. They are a lot less active than dogs. Cats pretty much bathe themselves and you never have to worry about taking them out to use the bathroom, which is probably the only plus about having a cat. They are not as smart as dogs are, and not as fun. People want to be able to play with their pets and not watch it sleep all day. Even though they don’t do much they are a lot easier to take care of. Especially when you have an outdoor cat you always have to worry about your pet bringing home some other dead animal because that’s what cats like to do. Cats are a lot more independent and are able to stay home for a longer period of time. Most cats don’t like to be walked, so when you try to find an excuse to go on a walk you can’t use your cat as one. Cats also have their crazy stage where they can just turn on you. Especially when being a half outdoor cat you have the risk of them bringing home something you don’t want. The scary thing is that if they scratch you, you can get cat scratch fever and end up landing in the hospital for a couple of days if it gets bad. Cats are not horrible animals, but if you want a pet that is going to be more entertaining cats are not
The difference between a good cat and Leo is the cuddle factor. The Toyger Breed is extremely loyal so they will love and cuddle you. The kitten can give emotional support for something crappy that happened at work or school. If we are sick with the flu or just some seasonal allergies, cats can help us develop a strong immune system. When one of us is sick, we can be comforted by the silky smooth coat of the Toyger cat.
Cats vs. Dogs Are you a cat person or a dog person? In the age-old schism of cats versus dogs, there has always been a debate for both sides. No matter what side is taken, there will always be a debate about which animal is superior. People choose pets based on a certain kinship they feel with the animal. Now, perhaps cat lovers are uptight, but they don't choose to claim kinship with a creature whose first act upon meeting a new member of its own kind is to sniff its behind.
The interest in this issue covers nations from end to end because a majority of households have pets. Cat based people are solitary, not always social but are usually good with thinking and innovating. Dog based people are highly social, are very traditional in values, and are most likely to have your average family and home life. In addition to these there is a chance you should just get both a cat and dog because they each can equally serve a purpose in your life.
Felines have soft fur and each cat, individually has a different personality, a great addition to
We’ve all seen moments on media where a child gets a pet as a present. The pleasure of getting a pet as a gift is often touching and sometimes ends with tears of joy. Being able to grow up with the pet is often a emotional roller coaster. Treating the pet as if it was another human being like watching television together, playing outside on the field, or just eating dinner as a family are memories we can cherish as they grow up. Although, in terms of being able to connect with the animal emotionally and physically; we can definitely see many reasons as to why a dog is a much better pet then a cat. Simply because they can follow commands, protect you from danger, and they’re known to be loyal companions.
... and faithfulness that cannot be found from any other source. Even the most hardened of hearts can be touched by a cold wet nose or a comforting snuggle. Pets seem to be able to recognize and adapt to many of the conditions placed on them in our human environment. They can provide the sense of companionship, and love that is lacking in regular human relationships.
Dogs vs Cats There are many types of pets--fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats, hedgehogs, bunnies, and others. Although there are many pet options, often times most people want either a cat or dog. While both pets have good qualities about them, I will argue that dogs a better pet than any others. There are many deciding factors but one of the biggest is friendliness. Obviously when you are buying a pet you want it to be friendly especially as a family pet.
During my life, I have had different pets ranging from cats and dogs to hamsters and a lizard. Being in the United States Army, having cats as pets is much easier to take care of as opposed to having a dog as a pet. There are many reasons as to how I came to this decision, but the deciding factors were based upon bathroom use, feeding, and the amount of attention and time that both cats and dogs require. While these factors are not all inclusive they are just the ones that had the most impact on my decision when picking a type of a pet. I am currently watching my Soldiers dog while he and his wife are on leave in the United States and this is reinforcing how much easier military life is with a cat rather than a dog.
Dogs and Cats, the debate over which is better has gone on for decades. Both creatures have their advantages, and disadvantages. Dog lovers arguments for why they are better typically include dogs loyalty and why they are better typically include dogs loyalty and affection for their owners. Cat lovers, however tend to point out how easy and inexpensive it is to raise a cat. Both have perfectly valid arguments but I prefer dogs.
A dogs behavior is significantly more desirable than a cats. A dog is loving and friendly most of the time and enjoys a good belly rub as a reward. If you try and scratch a cats belly, the cat will try to scratch and bite you. A dog is incomparably easier to train than a cat. You can teach a dog to do anything from bringing you your newspaper to the simplest command, sit. As a result of being able to train a dog, a dog goes to the bathroom outside, leaving no stench behind in your house. Whereas, a cat uses a litter box to go to the bathroom, there is always a stench in your house. Dogs are also far better with children. Dogs form a far greater bond with newborn babies, and often times do not leave the child’s crib side. Also, a trained dog will not cause destruction to your house, while you cannot train a cat to not use their sharp little claws to tear at the side of your couches, and rip and shred all the way down your curtains. Dogs also do not jump places where most cats jump, such as in your lap on your laptop, or on your dinner table at dinner. A dog won’t be a surprise first thing in the morning laying in your bathroom sink either. A dog will lay nex...
Both dogs and cats are good for companionship, because they are both very sweet, loveable. However dogs have a much more need for attention, dogs constantly want to be played with, and sometime aggravate their owner until they get what they want. On the other hand, cats pretty much like to stay to themselves. Some cats may stay away during the day time and only come out at night. Dogs sleep pretty much at night while some cats are up all night.
We all are busy people who are out of the house most of the day. We need a companion to help us ease the stress from daily life. For example, if you are purr-catinating on essays or preparing for speeches late at night, you at least have a companion by your side. A great companion is the cat, you get to pet a fluffy thing and get free scratches. Why cats? Well, cats are purr-ty interesting creatures. According to Discovery News, in 1960s, the CIA tried to turn a cat into a spy, but un-fur-tunately, they failed when the cat was ran over by a cab. Another interesting fact according to Buzzfeed is female cats are typically right-pawed while male cats are typically left-pawed. There is also a cat island named Tashirojima that are terrorized by stray cats in Japan. The main problem is there are too many cats in the shelters that need a home, according to ASPCA, approximately 3.4 million cats enter the shelters every year. Well the solution to this is you can adopt a cat. There are a few things you need to do before adopting a cat.
Dogs and cats are the most popular pets in the whole world. Even though they’re both very popular, they are different in many ways. Some people gravitate towards the calmness of a cat, while others seek the companionship of a dog. Cats are a lot more independent and less expensive. Cats don’t require nor do they want to be trained to be a house pet. Dogs on the other hand are very loyal and will act as your best friend. Dogs require more attention and training to be a well behaved family member. The main differences between dogs and cats are their personalities, habits, and training, which all determine what pet to choose.
Having a pet is a wonderful idea. Pets bring companionship, personality, and gut wrenching humor to households across the world. Having previously owned both a cat and a dog, and currently being without a pet, I began to think about getting a new furry friend. Born a dog lover, and bred into a cat lover, I had the difficult decision of choosing one of the two.
