I think all service men and women should get to keep the service dog they worked with. They should get them immediately after being discharged. They shouldn’t have to wait for them to be discharged. They built a bond with these animals and should get to keep them. And these dogs could help them through their tough times. Service men and women in the military get service dogs. These dogs help them do their job. Sometimes these service workers are hurt and discharged. After they are discharged their dogs are given to someone else. Very rarely do these service workers get their dogs back. These dogs don’t get reunited with their owners. The dogs they trained so much with. The dogs they worked all their life with.
