85% of Forbes' 2012 America's 400 Richest People list were college grads, and live their lives to the fullest (ProCon.org). Life is the most valuable thing to a person, it consists of obstacles, victories, and most of all, limits. In this day in age, everyone is given a certain set of rules that can affect them positively or negatively. One of these rules includes the importance of schooling and education. For most children, school is free until they graduate from high school, but after that, they have to pay for an education. Incurring college debt has been an issue for many years, some think that it is worth it, while others argue that it's not. Various sources prove that college graduates are paid more, can receive benefits, and value more in life.
When getting a job, you are given a pay grade that depends on different factors. Those who have more experience/education are paid more than those who don't have much. Everyone loves a promotion, it means more money, …show more content…

Procon.org authors explain that college graduates are more productive members of society, and learn interpersonal skills. Equality is an issue in present times, and college graduates are more exposed to diverse people and ideas, opening them up to being more equal. College not only provides a place of education, but a place of equality, diversity, and change.
With all of these positive possibilities, college is clearly worth the debt. In college, you are able to learn more about your career field while learning more about new people and ideas. After college, you can find a job easier, and depending on your job, you are able to pay off your debt within the following years. Many college graduates do not end up living like the others, but that is because the job they chose was not available where they lived. So working hard, and opening up to new things can help you live the life you have always
