Do you know why man’s view changed man during the renaissance? Well I do and I’m going to tell you the reasons why they changed man’s view. The renaissance period was a big change in the European history and it was a time when art and literature came about (Background Essay). Over the course off about 300 years the renaissance spread from Italy to the western and northern Europe (Background Essay). Since the people need to have an education they need to work on literacy and develop humanism (Background Essay). How did the renaissance change man’s view of man? Renaissance means rebirth to change the way something is. The renaissance changed man’s view of man because of Art, Literature, Astronomy, and the human body. Now I will tell you the reasons why it has changed man’s view of man. The first reason why the Renaissance changed man’s view of man is because of Art. The drawing of the universe was made by Claudius Ptolemy in 100 CE and Nicolaus Copernicus in 1500 (DOC C). The picture of the universe that Claudius made works by the earth in the middle and the sun was further from the earth (DOC C). The picture of the universe Copernicus made works by the sun in the center of the universe (DOC C). The Catholic Church was upset of Copernicus’s ideas because they might think that God was in the center of the universe (DOC C).
