I learned that an interactive read-aloud is an important aspect of how children develop oral language skills. By hearing certain words in a book, the students might repeat the words and gain a new word that they might not know. 2. What was a strength of your lesson? The strength of my lesson plan was probably the question that I ask throughout the book. When you are reading the book and ask questions while reading, the students can practice their oral skills by answering the questions asked. 3. What would you do differently? Something I would do differently is maybe read “No David” on the first day, but then read “David Goes to School” on the second day and then use this lesson plan.
