The inventor showed some really interesting experiments and stated that the generally considered test insulators, like glass and rubber are not as good as other not so considered insulators, like oil and wax. In his experiment, Tesla protected his hands from burning from 250,000 volts by holding brass balls. He in fact designed the first major Hydroelectric Powerplant in the world at the Niagara Falls using Tesla’s Polyphase System of Alternating Current Electricity. What is more, the movie showed how Nikola Tesla had to deal with his problems in life, like the rivalry between him and Thomas Edison, which still makes people around the world wonder and argue about who was right. This documentary movie is a good source because it illustrates a lot of Nikola Tesla’s inventions and life moments, which is helpful for understanding the inventor’s life and thoughts. Also, the movie talks a lot about his life and how he changed the view and life of Americans and the whole world.
