Ideals and inventions inspired by different scientists have shaped the history of humanity. Without the existence of some of these inventions our developed modern world would have not flourished. Now that electricity and technological appliances have become so crucial in our lives, can you imagine a world without them? No computers, no radios, no television…(real struggle) Some of this indispensable devices have been developed throughout history thanks to the contribution of Nikola Tesla, a famous electrical engineering, to humanity. In this technological world, we can see the advanced models of Tesla’s creations as the AC motors running in different household appliances, boosting industrial machinery, and even keeping the hard disk of laptop …show more content…

Inventions as the AC motors and wireless transmitters transformed the field of electrical engineering and welcomed a more developed and industrialized world. It was his passion, his outsider curiosity, and mystical qualities that made of Nikola one of the most outstanding inventors in history. His brilliant achievements outdid other scientists’ works of his time as Thomas Edison and Guglielmo Marconi. Nikola Tesla is known as “the father of electricity” because his inventions led to what is called today as the electrical revolution which occurred in the 20th century. “He ignites flights of imagination to new technology and new worlds” said Bernard Carlson (2013), one of Tesla’s fans. Over the years, the light ignited by Tesla has remained incandescent, and it will never be …show more content…

Tesla coils are electrical circuits which became the germ of modern artifacts. Since this creation worked as a powerful radio transmitter, tesla coils were adapted to the first models of radios in the 20th century. In these days, the famous tesla coils are commonly used in a wide variety of electronics such as televisions picture tubes and wireless power transmission. These circuits led to many different experiments such as X-rays, electrotherapy, satellite communications, automobile speedometer, phosphorescent light, high frequency alternating current, radio transmitters, transmission of electricity without wires, and wireless telegraphy. In the field of medicine, the Tesla coils were also used in medical devices such as violet ray and electrotherapy. Today, small coils are work as leak detectors for high vacuum systems.Currently a wide variety of electronics as televisions, radios and cellphones have adapted Tesla’s foundations about tuning circuits to resonate to particular frequencies. The wide-ranging brilliance of his achievements will never be taken for granted. B. Behrend (1921), an engineer and writer fan of Tesla said in his honor “If we were to eliminate from our industrial world the results of his inventions, the wheels of industry would cease to turn, our electric main
