When do kids become adults? When has the maturity level reached its highest point? When do people become mature? It is commonly debated that you are not mature until you are a “real” adult. The legal age of adulthood in the United States is 18. In comparison, the ages of consent in Europe are between the ages of 14 and 18. As you can see, people believe different ages are qualified for you to be a legal adult. I don’t believe that age is the specific reason for people to become adults. I believe it depends on their maturity level, not their age.
