The “America’s Gift to My Generation” There are so many great gifts America has given to my generation.Some of my most favorite gifts are my country’s freedom,liberty,and rights..As Franklin D. Roosevelt once said,”In the truest sense,freedom cannot be bestowed; It must be achieved.” Freedom is not just a word,its one of the greatest things that america has ever been given.Since America has freedom we the people have the right to act,speak,or think as one likes without being told not to do so.Just because we have freedom we have a major advantage,every citizen becomes apart of the government system.     I think that there is no good definition for the word freedom for the simple fact nobody’s free to do what they want because there is consequences and repercussion for all the actions that someone makes. But on the other hand if you say the wrong thing to somebody they can take you to court and sue you for it. So where is the freedom at there?
