School leaders play an important role in the success or failure of schools, which can and will impact student outcomes. The purpose of this paper is to understand the role of school leadership have about effective programs and leadership they play in leading teachers and developing great schools.

Such occurrences happen when leaders of schools begin helping teachers improve their teaching skills and delivery of the instructional approach. Other ways in which schools’ leaders impact successful schools is by using data to review and refine the instructional program, and ensuring schools are kept clean and safe. Research addresses the aspect of the link between school leadership and student learning. School Leadership is about organizational improvement; more specifically, it is about establishing uidelines and worthwhile directions for the school in question, and doing whatever it takes to move and support people to go in the same direction. School leadership effects on student learning occur largely because leadership strengthens professional community; and teachers’ engagement in professional community, in turn, fosters the use of instructional practices that are associated with student achievement. (Carnoy and Loeb, 2010) It also found that school leaders are correlated with student achievement and that there were especially strong links between specific school leaders behaviors’ and student learning.
