McDonald's produces very little for society other than a quick meal but for me it has, honestly, assisted me greatly with discovering who I am as a person, Back in October of 2016, I was just going into my interview at McDonald's. I was terrified beyond belief, not because I was afraid I might not get a job but if I looked professional enough or that my interviewer would think I was weird. Little to say, I have Anxiety. I managed to finish my interview and a few days later I got the call saying that I had gotten the job. I was a bit excited to finally have a source of income and a reason to actually leave the house but, again, I was quite nervous about what the current employees would think of me or that I wouldn't do a good enough job. At the end of the first video, I realized that most of the jobs and areas at McDonalds are quite simple and only involve putting food down, hitting a button, and picking the food up when the button beeps. This is when I realized that I shouldn't underestimate myself as much as I usually do. This one video showing me how to cook French fries helped me some self confidence that had been absent for a good majority of my life. The giddy feeling I got after realizing that I WAS able to easily excel at this job is still present to this day. After watching the videos I basically was given a tour of the store by a crew trainer that was one of the nicest people I had met and later became one of my best friends. My first week working for McDonalds exposed me to some wonderful people who had always been positive whether or not they themselves have had a bad day.
