EMPATHY

Empathy is the ability to understand what another person is feeling. Showing empathy involves seeing things from another person perspective so you could understand and relate to his or her feelings. When you will create a significant innovation, you must know who is your users and you have to pay attention about their lives. It is the center of a human centered design process.

The Empathize mode is when the work you do to understand people with the context of the design challenge. It is your job to understand the way they do things and why the do it and their physical and emotional need.

To define is to think what stand out to you while you are talking and observing people. In asking why someone had a certain behavior or feeling you are making connections from that person to the larger context.

Develop an understanding of the type of person you are designing for your user. Create and select a limited set of needs that you think are significant to suit you may in fact express a just one single main need to address. Work to express insights you developed through the creation of information your have gathered through empathy and research work.

Its when you encourage and motivates for feedback about the prototypes you have created from your users and have another opportunity to gain empathy for the people you are designing for.
Ideally you can test within a real context of the user’s life. For a physical object, ask people to take it with them and use it within their normal routines to see if the product is useful to them or not and if they could tell the people who is around them to try it maybe they would like who the product is made you might never know it could make their life easier.
