Who do you think is responsible for the sinking of the Titanic? This is a very important topic because this tragedy has affected us hugely. We live our lives differently because of this tragedy, but who do you think is responsible of this tragedy. I believe that Captain Smith was responsible for sinking of the Titanic because he failed the passengers of the ship, and failed to heed ice warnings and left lifeboats partially filled. Captain Smith was born on January 27, 1850, in Hanley, Staffordshire, England. Smith played a role in one of the most famous disasters at sea in history, the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. I believe Captain Smith was responsible for the sinking of the Titanic because he ignored several ice warnings.
