Background of the study Physical harm or simply violence is one of the very concerning matters in the society. Such matter includes the maltreatment and abuses on elder individuals. Violence against the aged individuals or elderly ones¬ is a very alarming and disturbing matter, according to Padilla as mentioned by Rosario (2015). Furthermore, this is supported by the Arab News which stated that there is a growing rate of elderly being abused or neglected. Additionally, in India, according to Misha and Patel (2013), elderly people are victims of grievous hurt, murder and abuse, and isolated by neighbors, family members, and domestic servants.

Knowing the reasons, though it is not enough, the researchers tend to make feasible, applicable, easy and useful solutions that can minimize and probably abolish these immoral actions.
Statement of the problem The researcher ought to know the different kinds of crimes that are committed against the senior citizen. Furthermore, to answer the following specific questions:
1. What are the possible causes and reasons why children commit such crimes to senior citizen?
2. What is the relationship between the abused senior citizen and their assailants?
3. How does the parenting style affect the children’s behavior?
4. How could such violent behavior against aged people be resolved?
Scope and Limitations of the Study The researchers limit the coverage of the study depending on the ability of data in some police stations within Baguio City and La Trinidad. The following stations are selected:
