La8 Mrs. Nitti Joshua Heeren 9/29/17 My first trip to Valley Fair It was my first time going to Valley Fair, I was so excited! We left at around 9:30 and stayed there until 9:00. My dad was taking my sister, Megan, my brother, Andrew, and I for a special treat. It takes us half-an-hour to get there from where we live. “Are we there yet, I asked my dad?” “Not yet,” He answered. After what seemed like forever, we finally arrived. We couldn't find a very good parking spot so we had to park far away. Once we were inside, we debated which to go on first. “Do you want to ride that one,” I asked? “No, we should go on that one,” Megan said. “Um... how about that one, said Andrew. “Sure,” we said. We got into the “boat” that you ride, and it started up the ramp to the top. When we got to the top, we slid down really fast, it was awesome! At the end of the ride, the boat hits the water and sends up a huge spray getting everyone wet. “Let's go on a roller coaster next,” I exclaimed! “Yeah,” my brother said. “Okay,” My sister and dad agreed. We picked the Renegade, an old Wild West themed ride. I was kind-of scared because it was my first time riding a roller coaster. The roller coaster went up very slowly. When we got to the top, the roller coaster shot down really fast and turned slightly so that it felt like you would fall. I was terrified. Looking back in retrospect, the roller coaster is not as scary as it seemed. It was one of the best days of my life! I wanted to go check out the arcade too see what it was like, so we walked there. On the way it started raining and we forgot our rain jackets so we got all wet. The rain didn't bother us too much. When we got to the arcade, we checked out the games. There was a nice guy and his son who had to leave so they gave us there card that you upload points on.
