Recommended: Children in wartime analysis

Many children in Afghanistan are dying and can use all the help they can get. A majority of Afghanistan’s population is dying because of no clean water sources, no safe shelters, and they aren’t being provided health care. United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is the best worldwide organization. They fulfill to the children’s needs in Afghanistan and they do so much more. People should support UNICEF because they provide this help such as sanitation, health, and care in not just Afghanistan, but all over the world. Children in Afghanistan need all the help they can get and UNICEF provides a majority of that help. Recently the temperatures in Afghanistan have been sub-zero and more than 20,000 children don’t have homes (Lisa Schlein, Freezing Weather in Europe, search.proquest.com). People are being affected by the natural disasters that have been happening recently and are losing their belongings and their homes being left to nothing. UNICEF has built shelters for these people and they continuously provide them with food, water, and other necessities such as clothes and blankets that are donated by people because of the money the raise for showing awareness. Other than natural disasters happening, there are also wars going on. UNICEF provides safe areas away from these wars where people are insured safety and health care. From these wars and natural disasters, waters are becoming polluted and people are getting deathly sick due to what’s happening to the water, along with unhealthy environments. UNICEF has shelters for these people and they take them into their care without question and provide to their needs immediately.
