It often means changing one’s mind, habits and behavior patterns. People loathe change. Change is often uncomfortable more so if the truth is at their disadvantage. Most times, the truth is something we already know but cannot accept. Therefore we ignore it, put it at the back of our minds and forget about it.
First, the movement kills any form of social progress. The truth is covered with political correctness which grows more problems instead of solving them. In America, the people are not allowed to discuss some topics due to their taboo nature. People are taught to hold their tongue on discussions of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, physical abilities, and etc because otherwise they could be called a sexist, racist, and or bigot. These terms are thrown around so much and with no regard of the consequences.
Keeping all other’s opinions in mind, I believe that lying is a deficient way of solving problems and is a bad thing. I claim that only certain situations allow the usage of lies and that otherwise, lying is bad. Dishonesty is bad because it makes it harder to serve justice, harms the liar individually, and messes up records. Furthermore, it should only be said to protect someone from grave danger. The article “Rejecting All Lies: Immanuel Kant by Sissela Bok also presents the same argument.
People who consistently think negatively are enslaved to their mind. Thoughts are vital to a well state of mind and well being. People’s thoughts make them think a particular way based on what they have seen and experiences they have had. Although everyone has at varying times in their lives experienced negativity, criticism and mistreatment, excessive negative thoughts and opinions on any particular subject or experiences is bad and harmful. Constant harsh critiquing on anything is bad because people who do this don't see any other options.

In the end the consequences of not telling the truth tend to be worse than if someone had told the truth in the first place. Often, this is hard to see, this is what makes telling the truth difficult for many people. When someone doesn’t tell the truth, it is good to let him or her know how their decision has hurt people.
You would fear that when left alone you would have to take care of yourself. People that have this disorder tend to lack self-confidence and rely on others for the help of small decisions. With dependent personality disorders you also tend to fear disapproval. People with this disorder tolerant poor and abusive treatment and they do not say or do anything about it. They feel like they have no other option.
Many experts find torture unnecessary and claim that it is not an effective way to get reliable information anymore. Despite the horrible effects torture can have on the victim we forget the effects it has on the person forced to act out the torture. Initially, torture is unacceptable because it is always immoral. The first reason it is is that of the inhumane treatment that this entails. Often the victims are put into a position where to get the torture to stop they have to give up information on something they are suspected of doing, not something they were proven to have done.
Because the culture’s believing don’t have a methodological discipline, we had to learn to not trust believing and believing can seem a scary word. The believing game is not much honored.”Summerized from The Believing Game Peter Elbow “people learned systematic doubting with its logic reasoning and critical thinking, we might forget what believing
This play shows that there are truths that people are better off not knowing, for it would cause them more harm than good. As can be seen, both these works views on truth do play heavily into how society as a whole generally views and reacts to different ‘kinds’ of truth, being the good truths that help and the bad truths that hinder.
Truth is difficult to find because there are many barriers that block one from the real truth. Othello is blinded by the false truth cast by Iago, and is not able to see the real truth anymore. A person who wants to seek the real truth must overcome these blockades with effort and great change. Stereotypes are one of the barriers that is deeply embedded into our society. In the society today, people often look at others with a filter that is either good or bad.
