The Trinity at first glance can seem confusing. Many people say that the Trinity is not found in the Bible. Its true the word Trinity is not found in the Bible, but the concept is. We can see examples of the GodHead all throw out the Bible, from the beginning to the end. Let's discuss a few bible verses where we can see the Trinity in actions. For the purpose of this discussion we will be using verses from the Old Testament as well as New Testament. Let's start out with a verse from the first book of the Bible. In Genesis 1:1 we can find the Hebrew word אֱלֹהִ֑ים(Elohim). The word אֱלֹהִ֑ים(Elohim) is not a singular word but plural. The Bible is very clear with it comes to the persona and identification of the Holy Spirit. First we must understand what makes up a persona, when we think of a person we have a check list of all the characteristics that he should have. On that check list we could have the following characteristics: Life, the ability to communicate, and Some form of intelligence. We can see that the Holy Spirit have all of these characteristics. Let's look a little deeper into each one of these characteristics and back them up biblically. The first one is life we can see that the Holy Spirit is living, here are some biblical evidence that supports this characteristic: Romans 8:11 and 1 Corinthians 3:16. Second characteristic is communication, we can see that the Holy Spirit actively communicates with us. One way that the Holy Spirit communicates with us is speaking to us. Let's take a trip through the word of God, I would like to point out a few out of many bible verses that backup this point. Here are a few verses that supports the fact the Holy Spirit speaks to us, Acts 8:29, 1 Timothy 4:1, and Acts 11:12. The final characteristic that we are going to discuss is that the Holy Spirit is intelligent. We can see that the Holy Spirit is intelligent, intelligence is a main part of a living being. We can see in 1 Corinthians 2:11 that the spirit knows. Knowing is a huge part of a intelligent being. We can see the word of God refers to "the mind of the spirit" we can see this in Romans 8:27. The word tells us that the Holy Spirit has a mind. Only a person or intelligent being would have a mind, not a power. All the characteristics we discussed are characteristics of a person not of a power. One main bible verses that shows that the Holy Spirit is a person and not a power is Acts 8:29. This bible verses shows us that the Holy Spirit can speak to us. The verse doesn't say
