Connection Paper Leaders are individuals who have the ability to inspire others. Leadership is a set of skills that can be developed and honed through practice and mentorship. These are skills that people can utilize to help find solutions to problems and build on ideas to increase the success of a business. Groups of people will often encounter disagreements that stem from differences of opinions and varying personal beliefs. Leaders must be people who are trustworthy and willing to do the right thing regardless of pressure from others. In order to fulfill the role of a leader, one must develop and achieve long term solutions and goals. Investigating each situation through inquiry, interactions with others, and observations will determine the steps needed to reach those goals. Leaders must make ethical decisions Living and working in a community that represents a variety of cultures and beliefs can be difficult if individuals do not embrace a tolerant view of divergent thinking, action, and discussion.
