This essay would be debated in the view of the Theology of Christianity. The theology of Christianity would be that there was and is a man that Jesus that came to Earth on behalf of his father name God to save sinners of their sins, and have a chance of eternal living in Heaven. The theology of Christianity is to believe in the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit and the jobs that they hold eventually and as an whole. In Paul Tillich’s 1957 work Dynamics of Faith, he mentions that there are six major components of faith. These six components of faith describe the Franciscan perspective of “faith”. According to Tillich, the first component of faith is “the state of being ultimately concerned”. The second component of faith is that it is supposed to be at the center of all of our personal lives and everything that we do throughout our own individual lives. The third component of faith is that we should have an awareness for “infinite” things such as God himself.

Christianity falls under the category of Theism, which is the belief in only one personal god. Christian worldview believes that God sent humanity His only son so that we can learn about God and how He wants us to act. Jesus is crucified later in His life on a cross, which relieved us from losing a relationship with God due to our sins. When analyzing the Christian worldview, we learn that God came to earth in human form as Jesus Christ to experience life with humanity and restore earth back to harmony. In this paper I will discuss God, Jesus, and humanity individually, how restoration will occur, and finally, analyze and reflect on the Christian worldview.
This paper is written to discuss the many different ideas that have been discussed over the first half of Theology 104. This class went over many topics which gave me a much better understanding of Christianity, Jesus, and the Bible. I will be addressing two topics of which I feel are very important to Christianity. First, I will be focusing on the question did Jesus claim to be God? This is one of the biggest challenges of the Bibles that come up quite often. Secondly, I will focus on character development.

In order to reveal his ethos to the clergymen, King provides his knowledge of historical religious leaders, and the Christian church by asserting a quote from a Christian philosopher, Paul Tillich. When describing segregation to his audience, King states, “Paul Tillich said that sin is separation” (209). This idea regarding the separation of individuals in society is used to support the evil nature and unjust treatment to African Americans. He is able to clearly convey his motives for proper treatment and equality for all individuals through the words of a well know and influential Christian individual. By connecting his claim to religion, King establishes his credibility and knowledge of religion, keeping in mind his audience of clergymen.
The main idea in the first chapter “The Great Questions” is that how important of religious, and the author use two sample experiences, which ordinary and extraordinary human experiences are. Portier pointed out four main aspects for extraordinary experiences, those are Birth, Death, Love, and Evil. Because of these four parts, the god creates human being and religious becomes meaning to us. In this chapter, we can learn that religious have power, and they will develop sustainably in the future. Portier still concerned that human life is a mystery. And Portier proposed a context called tradition, and he said that “I want to use it to refer to the sea of historical connections in which individuals swim.” (Portier, William L. Religious are one of meaningful parts in our life, and they will become an important position in the different culture.
After reading a few of the chapters in "Psychology Through the Eyes of Faith", I feel as if I have learned more in one sitting than many in years of my life. The chapters were not life altering, but simply stated things that I have overlooked. The topics that affected me most were on living with the mysteries of faith, benefits of true rest, and the emotion of happiness. Yes, they are really in no way related, but each of these topics impacted me in a different way, and made me think about what was being presented.

In this paper I will argue about the points where John Donne, Emily Dicks, and Michael Obi are struggling with their faith. The speaker in Holy Sonnet 14 struggles with not deserving to have a relationship with God because of sin. Emily Dickson fights with if there is an afterlife, if it is real, and can I belong in there (Poem 501). Michael Obi struggles with whole ideas of religion and remaining to look to the past since he is all about the looking forward (Death Men’s Path). The themes that are underlines is the desire to reconnect with God, believing in a God, but with some doubts, and completely not wanting a relationship with God at all.
