I.Introduction (1 paragraph) A photojournalist takes pictures of various events. They take the pictures in a way in which the photos will tell the viewer a story. I chose to do this career because I love to take photos, and I want to travel. There are three separate goals I have for my future career as a photojournalist. My first goal is to show people what is truly going on in the world. Secondly my goal is to understand the views and problems in the world myself. Finally my third goal is to inspire someone to step up and help fix problems in the world. II.Career-related information Overall a photojournalist does not need a college degree , although a college master's or bachelor's degree can help you gain an advantage over other job competitors. Another thing that can help you gain a boost above others is prior work experience. While according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics work experience needed is “none”, it can benefit you to have some prior work experience (“Photographers”). This benefits you because not only do you go in knowing how to do the job they are looking for, but also you can advance positions quickly. With my ocd being put in disasters and unsanitary environments will be painful. Overall my opinion of this career has not changed. While it may be hard for me to partake in this career, it will be a meaningful way for me to show others the truths of the world. My next steps towards this career is learning how to live with my OCd. Another step is to formulate my opinions and learn how to separate myself from them and be more accepting of others opinions. While the overall growth of this career field is low to show that i am the one for the job I will step up my education and go farther in college than previous
