It was made to appeal to older people, but many young people would like this film. There are scenes in this movie that are very intense and will keep all people attached to the screen. The one scene that stood out to me the most was the ending. Daniel had been building up all his anger and rage and when he released it all on Eli Sunday it put into perspective just how cruel of a man Daniel is. Eli had embarrassed him years and years ago, but Daniel never let that go. He had been waiting for the moment he could get his revenge in Eli. This movie is one that you would want to watch by yourself or with only a few friends. It will always keep your
With Every Drop Of Blood by James Lincoln Collier and Christopher Collier is based on the Civil War. In this novel they talked about the white-black relationships during this time period. In the novel Johnny’s father went off to fight in the war, and was shot at Cedar Creek to be sent back home for a short amount of time before he passed due to his injuries. When Johnny’s father died Johnny promised him that he would not run off to fight, that he would stay and help his mother with the farm, the house, and Johnny’s little brother Sam and his little sister Sarah. Before Johnny’s father passed Johnny asked him what the reason for the war was, and his father told him it was for ‘states rights’.
The Lion King film is not just an animated Walt Disney film but an inspirational movie. I think this is a good movie for anyone to watch because it has a lot of meaning for example, life lessons. Throughout the movie, there were different examples of life lessons such as hope, justice, and perserverance. I would definitely watch it again and children and adults to watch this movie.
The reason I choose this movie was quite simple. I was raised on this movie, not only is it one of my favorites, it clearly demonstrates the many facets of adolescent behaviors in the family life cycle. One of the main characters, Mikey, played by Sean Astin is of adolescent age. Throughout

With the work of these two men we now have the best movie of all time. I think people thirteen and older should see this movie. I feel this way because of some scenes in the movie. At one point, one of the girls is naked. This was obviously skipped when I watched it at school, but I went home to watch it and didn't even know if my sister should watch it.
Apocalypse Now. Dir. Francis F. Coppola. Perf. Martin Sheen and Marlon Brando. Paramount Pictures, 1979. DVD.
Gangsters, violence, murder and corruption !!!!! If these are some of the things that you're into, then this is your kind of movie. Be ready to watch it more than once to be sure to get all the movie has to offer because it jumps from subject to subject and can be a little confusing.
The movie “There Will Be Blood” was released on the 25th of January, 2008. The director of the film was Paul Thomas Anderson. Anderson was also the screenwriter. Some of the more important actors are Daniel Day-Lewis, Dillon Freasier, and Paul Dano. The movie does a good job showing that some people will always care more about themself and their personal gain, than other people around them, even their loved ones.
Wait until Dark was written by Frederick Knott, and contains two acts and three scenes in each act. This title gives an overview of what the story is about, Wait until Dark gives away that something is going to happen in the dark or at night. What is significant about this title is that a character by the name of Susy, makes Roat (a con man) suffer by turning off all the lights in the house and chasing him around. Susy is already blind, so she mastered using her other senses, but Roat has not. Therefore, he has to maneuver through the house quickly and carefully, without being caught by Susy. If I ever did get a chance to rename this play, I would name it THE DARK CHASE, because there are people chasing each other in the dark.
Many people throughout the world visit the United States every year to receive medical treatment. This is due to our excellent pharmaceutical industry as it spends million of dollars and many hours of research to come up with what we can only describe as “miracle” drugs and treatments. Part of the success of many of these medications is because the pharmaceutical industry is highly regulated by policies that protect the public from accessing drugs that have not been fully tested and found to be “safe”. However, this was not the case until the late 1990s and early 2000s. One time in history that highly influenced the strict regulations we currently have was the nationwide contamination of patients through blood transfusion or by consuming medications
I have to disagree with both of these reviews. I believe that the story was brilliantly written and the cinematography was beautiful. This movie touched me and had me in tears, which believe me is hard to do. I do agree with the New York Times and New Yorker that it was a little dragged out and that Kiera Knightly's acting was over rated. Other than that, I would defiantly recommend this movie.
Nicolas Cage first plays the after the character of John Travolta the boss of a terror organization but later transfigures to a vulnerable hero who gets yanked into a thoroughly unexpected harsh situation. Nicolas Cage is the best aspect that could be supplemented to this film, as he is at his prime best, courageous and peddles the likability
Overall this film was exciting to watch and was good to help learn a little about the Elizabethan Era. Although the goriness is too much for someone who is sensitive to that kind of thing, you can still enjoy the movie. The costumes are eccentric, the set design is, although outdated, extremely detailed, and was a good movie if you were looking for something to watch and enjoyed a little bit of history in your life.
I would say the target audience for this film would be people who enjoy musicals, no matter their age. The time lag would only have much of an effect for younger generations who do not remember the 1960's and the discrimination and the political actions that were being taken during that time period. The film is still a classic I would say because of all of the wonderful costumes, dancing, singing, acting, and clever story telling through songs. I can definitely see why this film was a popular success then as it still is today.
Most reviewers overall enjoyed the movie very much. Christopher Null gave the movie four out of five stars and said it was “perfection and a good memorable film”. Steven Rhodes also says it is a good film “It's the sort of film that will leave you exhausted but glad you came.” (http://www.imdb.com/Reviews/210/21041) However from a woman’s point of view the film was barbaric and violent, “it's socially irresponsible and repellent in its graphic depictions of extreme violence and brutality,” says Susan Granger. (http://www.speakers-podium.com/susangranger.) I, however, even though I am a female I enjoyed the film very much. It has become one of my favorite movies because I feel like I can relate to the topic very much because I wish I was just able to let go and do what I really want to do. Everyone has his or her own opinion of things so you should see the movie and see how you react to it.
