The Bermuda Triangle (the Devil’s Triangle), is a stretch of the Atlantic Ocean bordered by a line from Florida, to the islands of Bermuda, to Puerto Rico and then back to Florida. It is well known for all the mysterious things that happen within it. It got its name from a news article written by VIncent H. Gaddis in 1964. He claimed that in that part of the Atlantic ocean, a large amount of ships and planes have went missing without any explanation. He wasn’t the first to claim something about that area, but he gave it the name. The first major story about the Bermuda Triangle was when the USS Cyclops went missing in 1911. It is the most famous ship lost in the Bermuda Triangle. It served has a collier for the U.S Navy during World War 1. It was on its way from Bahia, Salvador to Baltimore, Maryland. The ship never made it to Baltimore. The ship could have sunk anywhere between Baltimore and Bahia. It is not proven to have sunk in the Bermuda Triangle, but that was the area they had said it sunk in.
Another famous was the disappearance of the NC16002. It was a passenger plane that was lost on Dec. 28 1948. The flight was last reported fifty miles from Florida. It disappeared with three crew members and twenty-nine passengers on it. There was no probable cause for the loss determined. In my opinion, the Bermuda Triangle can not be proven real. It also can’t be proven fake either. All the incidents that have happened in that area can’t be explained. If there is a reason that all these things are happening, then someone might find out. It might just be coincidence, or it might actually be a real problem in the middle of the ocean. One thing about the Bermuda Triangle that caught my attention was that a lot of incidents happen in December. It might be the weather that affects the ships and planes that pass through at the time. The weather could affect the way the ships and planes function and cause a failure of somesort. There has to be a reason that everything happens only in December. That is my opinion on the Bermuda Triangle. the main thing i think is that it might be real or it might be fake, but we won’t ever know until it is proven.
