Flight 370 was an international passenger flight that went missing on March 8, 2014. The flight was scheduled in route to Beijing, but it went missing throughout the second day after the plane took off from Kuala National Airport. At approximately 1:21 p.m., the communications and transponder signal were functioning no longer. There were no emergency calls at the time the plane had its last checkpoint. On March 24 at approximately 10p.m.Malaysia Standard Time, officials ceased the search as radio signals picked up debris found throughout a remote Indian Ocean. It is believed that all of the 239 passengers on the plane died (Preimesberger). From protests and outcries, to mourning and fallouts, it is still a distraught event that shocked the world.
When finding out the plane’s frequency and signals for its precise location, a company called, “Inmarsat” used the Doppler Effect to analyze the shifts castoff by the pilots. Inmarsat officially tracked the location using evidence of debris found throughout the remote side of the Indian Ocean. The first British jets flew by because they believed it the Boeing 777, but were unable to identify the certain debris as part of the plane. British Jets guided by the U.N. delivered the saddened news to Prime Minister Najib Razak, who delivered an official speech to the people of Malaysia as he informed that no one had survived Flight 370 (Payne). As the people of Malaysia were flustered by the news, Chinese people were more distraught as two-thirds of the plane's passengers were Chinese citizens. The Chinese government believed that there may be a hijacked that happened as two passengers on the plane had fake passports. ... that were sent by the Prime minister to give in that he had lost hope to the members of MH370. Overall, the claims he had made in his briefing has stirred up controversial topics to what had really happened to Flight 370.
All in all whether or not they figure out the outcome of what had actually happened to the missing plane, the outcome of it is a tragic loss all around the world. The flight had people who were charity workers, IBM workers, vacationers, and more. What was supposed to be a pleasant flight turned out to become a tragedy for families, friends, and loved ones. Satish Sarath, claimed that “she does not even know how to react to this news.” She was the sister of a member on the flight, whom went over to Malaysia for a charity meeting. It has been almost a month since the plane’s disappearance and no sight or core evidence has been found from Flight 370.
