Peggy Noonan, on February 25, 2016, wrote “Trump and the Rise of the Unprotected”. She wrote this article to explain Donald Trump as being likely a Republican nominee and how her main focus is around the idea of protection. She goes on to talk about how there are two sides, the protected and the unprotected. She includes that the protected makes public policies and are accomplished, secure and successful with the outside world they created. As for the unprotected, they just live in it and they’re starting to forcefully push back. An example that Noonan gives is when she talked about the way the protected are figures in government, politics and the media. They live in safe nice neighborhoods, they have family functions, their children’s goes to good schools and they somewhat have money. They seem to be isolated with all of these things. The feel that they can do absolute anything since they’re being protected and foist any reality. This topic could be relevant to my life because looking at the illegal immigrants, they’re not getting protection they needed. My parents are immigrants from Laos and I would hate to see them being treated unprotected. I believe every immigrant should be treated equally as others because clearly, the first people who step foot in this country was the Native Americans. …show more content…

Both parties, Democrats and Republicans refuses to help jurisdiction the boarder for the illegal immigrants, but the Democrats wanted to cast the Hispanic votes and put a stop against the Republicans.
