Imagine that in the United States there is 88.8 guns per 100 people, or about 270,000,000 guns. This number actually exists with 22% of Americans owning one or more guns. It is the highest total and per capita number in the world.
Gun control is the set of laws or policies that regulate the manufacture, sale, transfer, possession, modification, or use of firearms by civilians. There is two sides to the issue. One side believes more gun control will reduce gun-related deaths. The other side thinks the problem is the person with the gun, not the gun.
