And why does the memory of this music remain in the brain long after other sounds, some more often heard, no longer recall memories? Musical therapy is achieved in different ways. There are group or individual therapy sessions with a trained musical therapist, or self therapy where a person simply listens to specific music to create a certain mood, easily seen by competitive athletes or concentrated musicians. Listening to music and using musical therapy can have endless ways to inspire, heal, distract, focus, and entertain.
In our daily life, music plays important roles ranging from entertainment to comforting. It is said to be passion, energy, joy, creativity, eternal, love, soul, and joy among other attributes. Through music, people express their feelings and emotions, are relieved of pain, reduce stress, calms down, gets excitement in joyful moments, their minds get enriched , and it gives them self confidence . Associated with unique emotions, it is referred to as ‘healing without medicine’ since it has therapeutic effects in treating dementia, depression and trauma as argued by doctors (Singh, 2009). Music comes from people’s voice, it is everywhere; music let us listen to the rhythm of the world; music comes from people’s heart. Voice is not only “the main source of power in your writing” (Elbow 107), it is also the enlightenment teacher of music. Music is an indispensable partner for me. I like music from an early age, although I am not an expert and don’t understand the music notes on the staff, but I like music without any reasons. The significance of music to me is important.
The concerts allowed me to broaden my knowledge of music and learn more about how chamber music sounds. I moved along with the music I heard, and I thought about the works as I listened to them. I saw the musicians move as they played, and I know most musicians think about how they are going to play. Classical music may be losing the younger audiences, but it is still as great as it used to be when these pieces where played for royalty. Thought and movement are reactions to classical music which is why it’s an art form, and we should continue to support it because it is growing as composers write new pieces for the modern day instruments.

The Problem with Ticketmaster: Solutions to Music Industry Corruption I consider myself to be a fan of all types of music and I like to stay involved with the music world. Music is such an integral part of society in so many different aspects. Music defines time periods, brings back childhood memories, educates, relaxes as well as inspires. Stop and think for a moment if the music stopped, what would the world be like? A sudden silence overcoming the world.
