Personal Response I think The Magic School Bus Inside the Human Body is an interesting book. My favorite part was when they were inside Arnold’s stomach, and a student said that your stomach is like hamburger mush. My little sister Esthur thought that was funny too. She knew more than I thought she would. When Esthur told me that your blood is actually blue, I was surprised she knew that. Plot The Magic School Bus Inside the Human Body is about a class who was learning how the human body functions. They went on a field trip, by secretly shrinking the bus into one of the students Arnold’s food. When Arnold ate the food the whole class landed in his stomach. They learned how the digestion system works. They also learned how blood vessels work when the class was traveling back up the body. I think she is a brave and strong person, based on how she survived being shot. I also think she is a little anxious and overwhelmed because she was so focused on getting this man and did anything to catch him. Setting The setting first takes place in Boston at the beginning. When Reece got shot and spent time in a mental hospital for mental illness, she decided to travel. Her car broke down and she ended up in Wyoming. The time setting would most likely take place 10 years ago from our time, but is modern day so you can relate to it. Theme I would say the theme for Angels Fall is power of wealth. The reason why I think that is because even though Reece was going through mental illness, she stopped at nothing to catch this killer. Recommendation I recommend Angels Fall to people who like stories about mental illness and murder mysteries. The reason why I recommend it for them is because they would love how Reece was trying to figure out how Deena was killed. I think people between the ages of 14 and up would like this
