Recommended: Overview of importance of job satisfaction

Our place of work is home away from home, since we spend the majority of our day at work. Now, being in an environment where we spend so much time, effort and energy we should experience some kind of fulfillment. We should leave work each daily feeling fulfilled. According to the Simon Sinek video, “feeling of fulfillment comes from doing something for another. It also comes from the excursion of time and energy for someone else” (Sinek, 2012). In order to have a feeling of fulfillment we need to love our jobs and we need to enjoy what we are doing. How we feel about our jobs will affect us in our day-to-day life and also the people that we come into contact with. For example, being in the health care industry, it is a great feeling of fulfillment because after each day I know that I have impacted and help someone else. The company that you work for plays an important role in adding to their employees feeling of fulfillment. Companies should strive to build …show more content…

Vulnerability are described as deals someone makes in order to be willing to help another person. We are vulnerable to that person but at the same time we are there to make a difference; and risks are what we have to take to make ourselves vulnerable. As a leader, we are usually vulnerable because we are always prepared to help others, and that is a risk you are taking because it may be a situation where someone else may not have done the same for you. Leaders are responsible for their employees and in turn their employees will depend on their leaders to make the right decisions.
