What is Time Management? It refers to managing time effectively so that the right time is allocated to the right activity. It also means making the best use of time, as time is always limited and non-refundable. There are never enough hours in a day to do what you want. To put time management into an effective plan is to prepare a “To Do” list. Prioritize what you need to do, so if you have things that have to be done on a time limit then you should do that first and then move on to the next list item on the agenda. Do not begin a new task until you have the first task done. Cross off what you have done that is on your list. There are a few things you can follow that will keep you on track. This sounds like a strange idea when talking about time management but it is a necessary activity to continue to be fresh and creative. If you take a 5-10 minute break every hour you are basicly recharging your battery and creativity thoughts. By taking these breaks you will be more productive when you go back to the tasks that you have to accomplish. However, when you take these breaks they need to be complete breaks. This means that you should not be checking your emails, on the phone with co-workers, or texting about work related things. A good thing to do on these breaks is to take a quick walk away from the office, do some yoga, or some relaxation breathing techniques. A huge part of successful time management is planning ahead. Planning your week is important. Plan your activities with their priority, time needed to do the activity, and in which day or days you are planning on doing the activity. After planning is completed, scheduling your week is next. Be sure to include all of your high priority activities so they are set in the schedule. Take care to leave time for the unexpected as well. Finally, at the end of each day, schedule the next one. Using your weekly plan, weekly schedule, and even a to-do list would make this daily task simple and
